The final AEW Dynamite before Grand Slam Australia.
Presenting the final build to the first-ever show in Australia, Dynamite focused on the build-up to the event along with a title match taking place as The Hurt Syndicate put the Tag Team Championships on the line against The Gunn Club. Additionally, Max Caster hosted an open challenge and MJF faced Dustin Rhodes.
It should be noted that the show was taped ahead of time to allow the roster to travel to Australia for the show. Because of this, Dynamite spoilers were available.
Excalibur, Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness were the commentary team for the show.
The Following Results Took Place On AEW Dynamite:
- Max Caster hosted his open challenge, which was answered by Adam Page. Page defeated Caster.
- Ricochet addressed his victory over Swerve Strickland the previous week. Prince Nana attempted to convince Strickland to move on from Ricochet.
- The Death Riders defeated the Undisputed Kingdom to retain the Trios Championships.
- Samoa Joe, Hook and Katsuyori Shibata defeated Aaron Solo, Jon Cruz and Rosario Grillo. Joe issued a challenge to The Patriarchy for the following week.
- Chris Jericho called out Bandido. Bandido was hit with a sneak attack by The Learning Tree, which saw The Outrunners make the save.
- MJF defeated Dustin Rhodes.
- Megan Bayne defeated Maya World.
- Kris Statlander defeated Penelope Ford.
- The Hurt Syndicate defeated The Gunns to retain the Tag Team Championships.
- Cope and Jay White made their way to the ring with the World Championship briefcase, which Cope threatened to destroy unless Jon Moxley faced him at Revolution with the title on the line, which Mox agreed to. A brawl ensued between both sides with Marina Shafir getting the briefcase back and Cope and White standing tall.
