The Continental Classic continued and more on the December 3 AEW Dynamite.
Week 2 of the Continental Classic was the biggest talking point from the show, which saw Deathriders members Jon Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli face off one week on from Don Callis Family members Kazuchika Okada and Kyle Fletcher competing against one another, which saw Fletcher pick up the victory.
Additionally, World Champion Samoa Joe and Eddie Kingston had a face-to-face confrontation ahead of the title match at Winter is Coming, and Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa faced Magen Bayne and Marina Shafir in a Holiday Deathmatch.
AEW Dynamite Results December 3:
- Samoa Joe and Eddie Kingston had their face to face, where Joe forced Tony Schiavone to exit the ring before the segment began. Kingsotn cut a passionate promo in response to Joe, getting the crowd behind him before their title match at Winter is Coming next week.
- Kazuchika Okada defeated PAC in the Continental Classic Gold League.
- TNT Champion Mark Briscoe stated that he would be defending his title against Daniel Garcia in Cardiff, Wales on December 17.
- Kyle Fletcher defeated Kevin Knight in the Continental Classic Gold League.
- Darby Allin spoke from a hospital bed, and is not cleared to compete in his upcoming Continental lassic match.
- The Don Callis Family revealed they took The Young Bucks’ money, leading to Matt and Nick Jackson trying to get it back/ A brawl ensued with Jurassic Express and Kenny Omega making the save, but Don Callis still walked away with the money.
- Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa defeated Megan Bayne and Marina Shafir in a Holiday deathmatch to advance to the finals of the Women’s Tag Team Championship tournament.
- The Opps defeated The Dark Order. Adam Page made the save after the match, stating backstage that he was looking for a fight.
- Claudio Castagnoli defeated Jon Moxley in the Continental Classic Blue League.
