The final build to Worlds End and more took place on the December 25th edition of AEW Dynamite.
Taped in advance at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York, the show saw the final matches in the group stages of the Continental Classic tournament take place. Additionally, Toni Storm was in action against Taya Valkyrie
Excalibur, Tony Schiavone and a returning Taz were the commentary team for the show.
The Following Results Took Place On AEW Dynamite:
- Will Ospreay defeated Brody King in the Continental Classic Gold League
- Darby Allin vs. Ricochet in the Continental Classic Gold League ended in a time limit draw
- Komander defeated Claudio Castagnoli in the Continental Classic Gold League
- Kazuchika Okada defeated Shelton Benjamin in the Continental Classic Blue League
- Toni Storm defeated Taya Valkyrie
- Kyle Flecther defeated Daniel Garcia in the Continental Classic Blue League. Ospreay confronted Fletcher after the match as both men are set to face off once again at Worlds End. The other semi final match will see Ricochet face Kazuchika Okada
- The show closed with Jon Moxley appearing backstage to cut a promo on his upcoming title defence at Worlds End against Jay White, Adam Page and Orange Cassidy.
The December 27th AEW Rampage was also pre-taped, which will be the final edition of the show.
