The return of The Young Bucks, the continuation of the Owen Hart Cup and more took place on the latest episode of AEW Dynamite.
Following their return back at AEW Dynasty, The Young Bucks made their return to action as they took on Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight. Additionally, Will Ospreay teamed with Brody King to take on The Don Callis Family and Jamie Hayter faced Kris Statlander in the semifinals of the Owen Hart Cup.
Excalibur, Ian Riccaboni, Taz and Tony Schiavone were the announce team for the show.
The Following Results Took Place On AEW Dynamite:
- Tony Schiavone introduced Master P, who in turn introduced the new Trios Champions The Opps and Powerhouse Hobbs. The Death Riders interrupted and a brawl ensued that also included Kazuchika Okada, The Young Bucks, Swerve Strickland and Kenny Omega all getting involved. Moxley accepted Joe’s challenge for a shot at the World Championship, which was booked for May 14th Beach Break special.
- Mark Briscoe defeated Ricochet. Ricochet tried to attack Briscoe after the match but Kevin Knight made the save.
- Stokely Hathaway interrupted Tony Schiavone’s introduction for FTR to hype the tag team. FTR looked to attack The Rock N’ Roll Express but Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong made the save.
- The Young Bucks defeated Kevin Knight and Mike Bailey.
- MJF tried to once again persuade The Hurt Syndicate to let him in the group, this time with a nice car. Shelton Benjamin gave the thumbs up but Bobby Lashley still rejected MJF, taking the car in the process.
- Josh Alexander and Konosuke Takeshita defeated Will Ospreay and Brody King. Ospreay was attacked after the match by Fletcher and Adam Page tried to make the save but was also attacked.
- Jamie Hayter defeated Kris Statlander by to advance to the finals of the women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. Mercedes Mone stared down Hayter to close out the show.
