A big announcement, a title match and more took place on AEW Dynamite.
Although many had a strong suspicion as to what it would entail, many were curious about the nature of Tony Khan’s latest big announcement, which was described as historic by the AEW owner.
Additionally, Sting and Darby Allin were in action as they challenged Ricky Starks and Big Bill for the AEW Tag Team Championships as the road to Revolution continued.
Kicking off the action strong, Swerve Strickland and Adam Page faced off once again, with the winner advancing to Revolution to face AEW World Champion Samoa Joe.
The Following Results Took Place On AEW Dynamite:
- Swerve Strickland vs. Adam Page ended in a time limit draw. As a result, Samoa Joe will defend the title in a 3 way match at Revolution
- Toni Storm defeated Red Velvet
- The Blackpool Combat Club defeated the luchadors from CMLL
- Konosuke Takeshita defeated Chris Jericho
- Tony Khan announced that AEW Dynamite: Big Business will emanate from the TD Garden in Boston on March 13th
- Sting and Darby Allin defeated Ricky Starks and Big Bill to become the new AEW Tag Team Champions. After the match, The Young Bucks attacked Sting and Allin.
