The final AEW Dynamite before All In.
For the first time ever, Dynamite presented a show in the UK as the August 21st episode emanated from Cardiff, Wales. Multiple title matches took place on the show along with face-to-face confrontations between Will Ospreay & MJF and Bryan Danielson and Swerve Strickland.
The show also presented the final build to the All In pay-per-view, which will air live from Wembley Stadium on August 25th.
The Following Results Took Place On AEW Dynamite:
- The show opened with the contract signing between Mercedes Mone and Britt Baker ahead of the TBS Title match at All In. Both women traded insults and Baker attacked both Mone and Kamille to stand tall
- Chris Jericho defeated Tommy Billington. Hook confronted Jericho after the match but was attacked by Big Bill
- Toni Storm defeated Saraya to retain the AEW Women’s Championship. Mariah May attacked Storm after the match
- MJF and Will Ospreay met face-to-face. Both men traded insults and MJF made it personal by mentioning Ospreay’s family. Both men brawled and MJF hit a brainbuster on Ospreay to stand tall
- Kazuchika Okada vs. Claudio Castagnoli for the Continental Championship ended in a time limit draw
- Adam Page attacked Evil Uno backstage and vowed to win the Casino Gauntlet match at All In
- FTR and Darby Allin defeated The Elite
- Bryan Danielson and Swerve Strickland met face-to-face. Danielson dropped Strickland when the World Champion brought up Danielson’s family
