At AEW Dynasty, Swerve Strickland became the new AEW World Champion after defeating Samoa Joe in the main event. With little time to celebrate, Strickland will be in action on Dynamite as he faces off against Kyle Fletcher in an eliminator match. If Fletcher wins, he will receive a future opportunity at the title.
Multiple titles changed hands at Dynasty as Willow Nightingale became the new TBS Champion and Chris Jericho became the new FTW Champion. Both champions are set to appear in separate segments on Dynamite to celebrate their victories.
At NJPW Windy City Riot, Jon Moxley became the new IWGP World Champion. Moxley’s first defence of the championship will take place on Dynamite as he faces Powerhouse Hobbs.
