The January 19th edition of AEW Dynamite will be broadcast live from the Entertainment & Sports Arena in Washington, DC.
Two major returns are due to take place on Dynamite. Firstly, it was announced on he previous week’s Dynamite that TNT Champion Cody Rhodes will be returning to AEW. Rhodes has missed multiple episodes of AEW programming due to not being medically cleared. The other big return is former AEW Champion Jon Moxley, who has not been seen on All Elite Wrestling since October 2021. Moxley has been off of TV due to taking part in an alcohol treatment program. This is the second wrestling return announced for Moxley, as he will also be making a GCW return in the near future.
The following matches and segments have been announced to take place on Dynamite:
- CM Punk vs. Shawn Spears.
- The return of Cody Rhodes.
- Orange Cassidy and Kris Statlander vs. Adam Cole and Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D.
- Sting and Darby Allin vs. The Acclaimed.
- Skye Blue vs. Serena Deeb.
- Jon Moxley to return.
- FTR vs. Brock Anderson and Lee Johnson
- Malakai Black and Brody King vs. Brian Pillman, Jr. and Griff Garrison
