The August 18th edition of All Elite Wrestling Dynamite will air from Houston, Texas. With matches and segments pre-announced by AEW ahead of the show, this edition of Dynamite has the potential to be a newsworthy episode by the end.
A wrestling legend will be making his debut on Dynamite. Sting will be competing on TNT for the first time in two decades. The Icon will be teaming with Darby Allin to face 2.0 in a Texas Tornado Tag Team Match.
A championship match and the climax of a feud will all take place on the show. The following matches and segments are due to take place on Dynamite:
- The Young Bucks (c) vs. Jurassic Express – Tag team match for the AEW Tag Team Championships.
- Sting and Darby Allin vs. 2.0
- Shawn Spears vs. Sammy Guevara – Sammy will also make an announcement on the show.
- MJF vs. Chris Jericho in the final labour of Jericho. For Chris Jericho, Judas is banned, meaning that The Judas Effect finisher and Judas entrance music is not allowed.
Also expect a confrontation between AEW World Champion Kenny Omega and Christian Cage. On the debut episode of Rampage last Friday, Cage defeated Omega to become the new IMPACT World Champion. Expect the match at All Out for the AEW World Championship to be addressed following these events.
