The return of Blood and Guts and more on AEW Dynamite.
The brutal double cage match returned for a 4th consecutive year on July 24th, which saw Team AEW face off against Team Elite in the barbaric stipulation match. Additionally, new International Champion MJF appeared live to celebrate his victory.
Following her return at Forbidden Door, Britt Baker made her return to in-ring action as she faced off against another former Women’s Champion, Hikaru Shida.
The Following results Took Place On AEW Dynamite:
- Will Ospreay appeared in the cold open and was about to drive to the arena but his car tyre was slashed
- New International Champion MJF opened the show and mocked Will Ospreay, including referencing the recent death of his grandmother. MJF presented a new championship design and declared it to be the American Championship. Ospreay attacked MJF after the presentation and confirmed that there would be a rematch at All In
- Chris Jericho defeated Minoru Suzuki to retain the FTW Championship
- Britt Baker defeated Hikaru Shida in her return match
- Pac defeated Boulder
- Mariah May won in a squash match
- Team AEW defeated Team Elite in the Blood and Guts match
