AEW Dynamite celebrated its 6th anniversary with a 2 and a half hour special on October 1.
Marking 6 years since the debut episode of the flagship show, All Elite Wrestling once again loaded up the card with big matches, which included World Champion Adam Page teaming up with Samoa Joe and Powerhouse Hobbs to take on The Deathriders.
Following Luchasaurus reuniting with Jack Perry back at All Out, Jurassic Express made their return to Dynamite on the show. Additionally, Kyle Fletcher put the TNT Championship on the line against Orange Cassidy and Kenny Omega made his return to the ring as he teamed with the Tag Team Champions Brodido.
AEW Dynamite Results October 1:
- Kenny Omega, Brody King and Bandido defeated The Young Bucks and Josh Alexander. After the match, a returning Andrade attacked Omega and aligned himself with The Don Callis Family.
- Don Callis later informed Konosuke Takeshita and Kazuchika Okada that they would be fighting Brodido for the Tag Titles next week.
- Kyle Fletcher defeated Orange Cassidy to retain the TNT Championship. Cassidy was attacked by a fake Hologram after the match, who revealed themselves to be El Clon, who also joined The Don Callis Family.
- Adam Page, Samoa Joe and Powerhouse Hobbs defeated Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli and Daniel Garcia. There was tension between Page and Joe after the match, leading to Page putting a challenge to Joe to face him for the World Title at WrestleDream.
- Toni Storm defeated Tay Melo.
- GOA defeated Lee Johnson and Blake Christian. After the match, The Hurt Syndicate challenged The Demand to a street fight for next week.
- Darby Allin and Kris Statlander defeated Wheeler Yuta and Marina Shafir. Toni Storm brawled with Statlander after the match, while Allin was attacked by The Deathriders, with Moxley promising that he would make Allin say “I Quit” at WrestleDream.
