AEW Collision Ratings Hit New Record Low For 17/11/23 Episode

AEW Collision

AEW Collision sets a new record for the wrong reasons.

As reported by Wrestlenomics, the November 17th edition, which aired on Friday night due to Full Gear airing the next night, drew an average audience of 270,000 and drew an 18-49 rating of 0.08.

This is the lowest that the show has drawn in its short history, with the previous record low being the September 30th episode that drew an average audience of 327,000.

Unfortunately, the news is not much better when the show is compared to Friday night show Rampage, which has been affected the worst by ratings in 2023. The lowest-ever rating of Rampage since the show began back in 2021 was on May 13th, drawing an average audience of 284,000.

AEW vs. WWE On Friday Night

It should be noted that Collision did go directly head to head with WWE SmackDown due to the pay-per-view taking place on Saturday and Collision historically performing worse when directly competing with WWE programming. However, with the recent ratings slump it is doubtful that ratings would have been higher than 500,000.

In regards to WWE, SmackDown drew an average audience of 2.206 million and obtained an 18-49 rating of 0.62.
