Liv Morgan Criminal Case Update

Liv Morgan

Liv Morgan has received some positive news about her ongoing legal troubles.

As was reported in December 2023, Liv Morgan was arrested in Florida for possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana and a synthetic cannabinoid. On January 2nd, the synthetic cannabinoid charge was dropped, which is classed as a felony in the state of Florida, meaning that the only charge remaining was the possession of marijuana. As the synthetic cannabinoid was dropped, Morgan’s case was downgraded from a felony to a misdemeanour.

On January 31st, the remaining charge was dropped meaning that the case has been closed. The case is now listed as “adjudication withheld,” meaning that Morgan was not convicted and will have to pay an assessment fee of $543. Morgan was scheduled to appear in court on February 20th but due to Morgan’s attorney issuing a plea of Nolo-Contendere, which is where the defendant accepts conviction as though a guilty plea has been entered but does not formally accept guilt.

Morgan was stopped by police in Sumter County, Florida in December when her vehicle was seen being driven erratically in the Florida county. Officers who conducted the search noted that the odour of marijuana was detected when they found the aforementioned items.

Morgan was arrested while recovering from injury. Follow-up reports stated that there was no heat on Morgan from WWE following the arrest.

Liv Morgan Returns To WWE

Having been out injured for the latter stages of 2023, Morgan made her surprise return in the Royal Rumble match, entering at number 30. Morgan would make it to the final 2 before being eventually eliminated by winner Bayley.
