Sabu Makes AEW Debut

Sabu is the latest wrestler to make an appearance for AEW.

The legendary extreme wrestler made the surprise debut on the May 24th episode of Dynamite, coming to the aid of Adam Cole.

A contract signing took place for the Unsanctioned match scheduled to take place at Double or Nothing, with both men agreeing to no physicality. Cole expressed his hatred for Jericho for orchestrating an assault on his girlfriend Britt Baker. Cole then described how violent he would be at the pay-per-view.

Jericho responded by stating that Cole can’t beat him, because of the numbers advantage of the Jericho Appreciation Society. Cole agreed that he was outnumbered, so he made a phone call, introducing Sabu to the arena in Las Vegas.

Sabu chased the JAS out of the ring to close the segment out.

Sabu has wrestled for every promotion in the United States, making appearances in ECW, WWE, IMPACT and now AEW. The former ECW Champion is known for his extreme style and being one of the innovators of death defying feats and violent matches, most notably featuring barbed wire.
