WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle has named his favourite moment of his legendary in-ring career.
Angle has one of the most memorable runs in both WWE and TNA, winning 10 world championships across both promotions and having some of the most critically acclaimed matches. Speaking on The Kurt Angle Show, The Olympic gold medallist has stated that his favourite moment is not a match but in fact the segment Milk-O-Mania:
“That’s my number one moment in WWE or anywhere, any wrestling promotion I’ve been a part of. The milk truck incident was the coolest thing in the world. I was so grateful that Brian Gewirtz came up with that idea.”
“He copied Stone Cold’s beer truck incident, and it was excellent. I really loved it and dowsing down Stone Cold Steve Austin and Stephanie with milk was the coolest thing in the world. I mean, I had the whole Alliance in that ring and I’m spraying them down with milk.”
“It’s actually food-coloured white water, but they put food colouring in the water. But the milk jugs and cartons were real but that’s another story about the aeroplane ride that night.”
The iconic segment would take place in 2001, where Stone Cold Steve Austin was seen praising The Alliance, then singling out Tazz for not wearing an alliance t-shirt. Kurt Angle would then come to the ring in a milk truck, spraying The Alliance with milk before celebrating on top of the truck.
