Becky Lynch has been added to the Raw Women’s Championship match due to take place at the Hell in a Cell Premium Live Event, making the match a triple threat match.
On the May 16th Raw, Asuka earned the opportunity to face Bianca Belair at Hell in a Cell by defeating Becky Lynch in a singles match, using the green mist to aid the victory. Lynch was not happy with the circumstances in which she lost the match, and demanded to be put into the match. It was then later announced that if Becky Lynch could defeat Asuka, the match would become a triple threat.
The match moved to outside the ring, where Lynch fell into the lap of Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair, who was scouting from the ringside area. Asuka attempted to kick becky, but instead hit Belair. Big Time Becks would capitalise on this and would eventually defeat Asuka via pinfall to be victorious.
The current line-up for Hell in a Cell is as follows:
- Bianca Belair (c) vs. Asuka vs. Becky Lynch – Triple threat match for the Raw Women’s Championship.
- Cody Rhodes vs. Seth Rollins – Hell in a Cell match.
- Kevin Owens vs. Ezekiel.
- Bobby Lashley vs. MVP and Omos – 2 on 1 handicap match.
