Lita has no more matches planned in WWE after Elimination Chamber. The WWE Hall of Famer is set to face Becky Lynch at the Premium Live Event on Saturday February 19th. With WrestleMania being the next event in WWE’s calendar, a match featuring Lita could also be a possibility. However, a recent interview appears to dispute this.
Lita recently spoke to Justin Barasso of Sports Illustrated to promote the upcoming title match. In regards to any future matches, the former Women’s Champion has stated that the match in Saudi Arabia appears to be a one off:
“Currently, I was just asked to do this match. I know everything can change in WWE at the drop of a hat. There is a lot of opportunity here, and just because there are no current plans doesn’t mean there won’t be. This is also allowing me to focus on the task at hand, which is to put on a killer match and not focus on anything else except Elimination Chamber.”
It should be noted that as also stated by Lita, plans can change in WWE and there is still a possibility for the Hall of Famer to have a spot on the 2 night WrestleMania. If another match after Elimination Chamber were to take place, Lita has stated that Rhea Ripley would be a dream opponent:
“The roster is so deep. There are limitless dream matches on their roster right now. Rhea Ripley is one of them. She’s so young, but she’s already so powerful and grounded. It would be an honor to work with her.”
