WWE presented Survivor Series for the 37th time on November 25. The show was broadcast live from the Allstate Arena in Chicago with an attendance of 17,138.
Two WarGames matches, two title matches and Dragon Lee seeking retribution on Santos Escobar were announced ahead of time.
Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Shotzi and Bianca Belair defeated Damage CTRL (Bayley, Kairi Sane, Iyo Sky and Asuka)- Lynch and Bayley started the match. Shortly after the bell, the sponsor for the intense match, Ruffles crisps, lit up the guardrail. Bayley hit a suplex onto the steel grating that joins the rings. Dakota Kai slid a kendo stick into the ring to give Bayley an advantage. Shotzi entered next and brought in weapons. Shotzi hit a dive through one ring to the next. All 3 climbed to the top of the cage before Bayley was knocked off. Iyo Sky was next, bringing a chain in the match. Sky hit multiple high flying moves. Belair was out next and went right after Sky. Belair hit a double suplex. Sane marched her way to the ring next. The crowd demanded tables but didn’t get it. Sane placed chairs on Shotzi and dropped an elbow. Flair was out next, Sane tripped over as Flair delivered chops. Flair continued to run wild until she was neutralised by Bayley and Sane. Sky climbed to the top of the cage and grabbed a trash can. Sky repeated the NXT spot where she dove off the cage with a trash can over her. Asuka entered and grabbed tons of weapons, including a table, then WarGames began. Lynch and Belair were chained together. Shotzi was hit with the mist. Flair hit a moonsault off the top of the cage. A series of submissions and dives followed. Bayley was hit with a KOD and driven through a table to give team Belair the win. The match was fun but the wrong result – ***½
Gunther defeated The Miz – Gunther utilised power and Miz utilised speed. Miz was chopped a couple of times before firing back. Miz attempted a dive but was struck out the air. Gunther continued to attack Miz. Miz had a comeback by attacking the leg of Gunther. Gunther hit a powerbomb but Miz kicked out. Miz hit a low blow an skull crushing finale but Gunther kicked out. Gunther hit a top rope splash and locked in a Boston Crab. Miz tapped out – ***
Santos Escobar defeated Dragon Lee – Escobar took control early. Escobar teased the same spot that injured Rey Mysterio but Lee fought back. Lee hit a dive to the outside. Escobar went for Lee’s mask, which the crowd chanted asshole at him. Lee hit a sit out powerbomb but Escobar kicked out. Escobar hit a destroyer and phantom driver to win – **
Rhea Ripley defeated Zoey Stark – Ripley was knocked out the ring early. Back in the ring Ripley hit a massive headbut. A brief brawl on the outside allowed Ripley to regain control. Stark was driven into the mat repeatedly. Stark hit a big kick onto Ripley but only got a 2 count. Ripley went for riptide but Stark countered into a suplex. Ripley hit the riptide to win – **
Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Jey Uso, Sami Zayn and Randy Orton defeated Drew McIntyre and Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Damian Priest, Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh – Orton did not make his entrance at the start, as it was told that he wasn’t at the arena. Balor and Rollins started the match with Rollins hitting a big dive. The crowd chanted for Punk but were shut down. McDonagh entered next. Balor and McDonagh double teamed Rollins with kendo sticks. Jey Uso entered next with a chair. Priest entered next with a baton to strike Rollins and Uso. Zayn entered next with a table. Zayn removed a pipe from the cage and ran wild. McIntyre entered next. Uso and Zayn hit a 1D. Rhodes entered next. Rhodes brought out a bull rope and he and Rollins double teamed Balor with it. Mysterio entered last for team Judgment Day. After a brief run Dom was surrounded before being saved. McIntyre and Priest hit a triple choke slam onto Zayn, Rollins and Rhodes. Rollins went through a table. The clock counted down and Ripley ran down with the MITB case but was interrupted by Orton to a thunderous ovation. Orton took down Judgment Day members one by one. Judgment Day hanged up on Orton before being saved. 5 draping DDTs were hit simultaneously. Orton briefly confronted Uso before finishers were hit left and right. McDonagh was hit with a top of the cage RKO before Rhodes hit a Cross Rhodes onto Priest to win – ****
