The Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes will be in action and more on the October 3 edition of WWE SmackDown.
Ahead of his Crown Jewel match against Seth Rollins in Australia, Cody Rhodes will be taking on The Vision’s Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed in a tag team match, and will partner up with Randy Orton after The Viper came to his aid the previous week. A few days later, SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis announced that the tag match was official for the show.
United States Champion Sami Zayn will also be in action once more as part of his US Title open challenge. As the likes of Carmelo Hayes, Rey Fenix and Je’Von Evans have previously faced the champ, who will be next to answer the call on SmackDown? The final match announced for the show will see Damian Priest in action against an opponent to be determined.
Additionally, we will hear from WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton ahead of her match at Crown Jewel against Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer, which will be for the Women’s Crown Jewel Championship.
