A title match and more has been announced for the January 23 episode of WWE SmackDown, which will also serve as the go home show for Saturday Night’s Main Event.
On January 24, Drew McIntyre will find out who is his first challenger is as Sami Zayn, Ilja Dragunov, Damian Priest and Randy Orton will battle it out at the Saturday Night’s Main Event special. Ahead of the match, Priest and Williams will go one-on-one following an altercation backstage the previous week.
Also on last week’s show, The Wyatt Sicks attacked The MFTs in a failed attempt to retrieve their lantern. Sikoa has agreed to face The Wyatts, but only if they put their Tag Team Championships on the line. New number one contenders will be crowned for the Women’s Tag Titles, as Alexa Bliss & Charlotte Flair vs. Giulia & Kiana James vs. Nia Jax & Lash Legend will face off on the show. Whoever emerges the victor will be next in line for the championships, which will be defended at Saturday Night’s Main Event as Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY will put the titles on the line against Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez.
As Cody Rhodes also declared for the Royal Rumble on the January 16 broadcast and more announced their entry on the next episode of Raw, expect to see more names announce their entry on the show.
