AJ Styles is out for retribution.
Following Jimmy Uso returning to SmackDown on the September 1st episode, the former Tag Team Champion attacked Styles backstage and would later cost The Phenomenal One in his match against Solo Sikoa. Styles will meet Uso to try and get some payback on the interference.
Shotzi has backup to take on Damage CTRL on SmackDown. With Shotzi being the victim of the numbers game on the previous week’s episode, Charlotte Flair would storm to the ring to provide backup. It has been announced that Flair and Shotzi will take on Damage CTRL on SmackDown.
It should be noted that multiple members of the roster will not be present at SmackDown as they are competing at the Superstar Spectacle event in India.
The line-up for the September 8th SmackDown is as follows:
- AJ Styles vs. Jimmy Uso
- Charlotte Flair and Shotzi vs. Bayley and IYO SKY
