WWE SmackDown Live Coverage Barcelona, Spain March 14th

The March 14th WWE SmackDown kicks off the European tour which will see tapings take place on the continent over the next few weeks.

Due to the new media rights deal between WWE and Netflix, fans are able to watch the upcoming European shows live on the streaming platform as opposed to waiting for the tape delay at 1 am, as has been the case previously. However, the show will still air at the regular time in the United States.

Notable segments announced ahead of time include Cody Rhodes appearing live on Miz TV and Randy Orton vs. Carmelo Hayes, which will be Orton’s first match back from injury.

Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett are on commentary for this evening’s show.

WWE SmackDown Live From Barcelona, Spain

The crowd his already hot for the opener as Tessitore provides the voiceover as Cody Rhodes, Gunther, Randy Orton, Carmelo Hayes, The Street Profits, #DIY and Paul Heyman are all seen arriving.

LA Knight Appears Live

New United States Champion LA Knight officially kicks off the show and gets a great reaction from the fans. Knight spoke about becoming the new US Champion again before being interrupted by Jimmy Uso, who wants a title shot. Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga also interrupt, with Sikoa saying Fatu should have the shot. The heels beat down Knight and Uso before Braun Strowman made the save. SmackDown GM Nick Aldis announces a 6 man tag match.

LA Knight, Jimmy Uso And Braun Strowman vs. Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga And Jacob Fatu

Back from the break and the heels have isolated Uso. The crowd are hot for everything in the opening match. Knight gets the hot tag but has been isolated by Fatu, meaning the heels are back on top again. Fatu continues to be booked strong. Strowman has been tagged in and the fans love it! Strowman hits the Strowman Express to take out the heels. Strowman hits the running powerslam to get the win but is attacked by Sikoa after the match. The brawl continues and Fatu delivers more punishment to Strowman including multiple moonsaults. Fatu runs back and drives Strowman through the barricade to put the exclamation point on the attack.

Winners: Braun Strowman, Jimmy Uso and LA Knight

Jade Cargill Sits Down With Cathy Kelley

After a video package recapping the Elimination Chamber return and events that took place last week, Cargill stated that she as doing good physically but denied she needed a handout to get ahead. When asked how she knew it was Naomi who attacked her, Cargill responded that she saw Naomi run away after the attack. Cargill added that Naomi also attacked her integrity and her trust while calling out Naomi for tagging with Bianca Belair in her absence. Liv Morgan interrupted the interview, leading to a match between Cargill and Morgan announced for next week.

Charlotte Flair vs. B-Fab

This is Charlotte Flair’s first singles match since 2023. Flair had a brief flurry to start but B-Fab took control. Flair regained control and the fans do not like it! F-Fab hit a big kick but Flair kicked out. Flair hit a kick of her own, Natural Selection and locked in the Figure 8 to get the win. Flair refused to let go until Tiffany Stratton’s music hit. Stratton stormed the ring and security broke things up. The brawl resumed and was broken up again until security restored order. Flair dove off the announce table and Stratton dove out the ring. Security finally got them apart.

Winner: Charlotte Flair

Drew McIntyre Video Package

Drew McIntyre spoke about getting screwed continually by Damian Priest over the past year and how he wants to put Priest down for good.

Miz TV With Cody Rhodes

Just as it appeared Miz TV was about to start Stratton and Flair continued their brawl. Stratton dove off the tron. Miz introduced Miz TV in Spanish and then brought out Cody Rhodes, who received a great ovation. Miz cut off Rhodes’ entrance but was hit with a Cross Rhodes from The American Nightmare. Rhodes stated he only wanted to talk to John Cena and let him know he will be at Raw on Monday.

Damian Priest vs. Shinsuke Nakamura

A video package aired from earlier in the day setting up the match between Priest and Nakamura. A short video aired before the match which could signal the arrival of former AEW star Rey Fenix. Priest took control early on and the action spilled to the outside. Nakamura dodged a corner attack and took advantage. Priest planted Nakamura to get a double down. Priest set up for the finish but Drew McIntyre distracted him by appearing at ringside. McIntyre stormed the ring to allow Priest to win via DQ. A scuffle ensued with Nakamura taking advantage and hitting a Kinshasa onto Priest. McIntyre continued the beatdown on Priest and drove him into the barricade. McIntyre hit Priest with the steps. McIntyre ran back to the ring and hit a Claymore onto Priest.

Winner: Damian Priest via DQ

Randy Orton vs. Carmelo Hayes

Unsurprisingly, Randy Orton got a thunderous ovation from the crowd, easily the biggest of the night. Hayes started off cocky but was quickly put in his place by Orton. Hayes was slammed onto the announce table. Hayes took back control and slowed down the pace. Orton made his comeback and hit the draping DDT. Hayes hit a cheap shot and got a near fall. Orton hit an RKO to get the win. Hayes refused the handshake after the match and was hit with another RKO, attempted the punt but Kevin Owens pulled Hayes out of the ring. Owens got a shot in and fled.

Winner: Randy Orton

Gunther vs. Axiom

Gunther insulted Jey Uso and promised to win at WrestleMania. Gunther called out A-Kid [Axiom in NXT] for a match. Axiom used his speed but was shut down by Gunther’s power. Axiom continually countered the chops until Gunther finally connected. Axiom attempted to fight back but Gunther locked in the Boston Crab. Gunther later hit the powerbomb but Axiom kicked out. Axiom hit a big kick but Gunther kicked out. Gunther hit another powerbomb for the win.

Winner: Gunther

Paul Heyman Appears Live

Heyman hyped up WWE 2K25 before moving on to Seth Rollins and CM Punk, adding that he hates Rollins’ song and the Punk favour was referenced. Heyman hyped up Roman Reigns appearing on the show next week, which the fans were not happy with.

#DIY vs. The Street Profits – Tag Team Title Match

Angelo Dawkins started out the match strong against Gargano and Ciampa. Ford got tagged in and hit a huge cross body. Gargano shoved Ford off the apron and DIY took advantage. Ford was isolated by DIY. Dawkins got the hot tag and ran wild on Gargano and Ciampa. Ford attempted a 450 but Ciampa got the knees up. The Profits hit an avalanche blockbuster but Ciampa made the save. Dawkins kicked out of DIY’s Fairytale Ending and superkick combo. Ford hit the frog splash to win the match and the Tag Team Championships.

Winners: The Street Profits
