The final build to Money in the Bank and much more took place on WWE Raw.
With WWE travelling to Toronto for Money in the Bank on July 6th, the go-home episode of Raw saw the final competitors for each of the respective ladder matches determined. Additionally, Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan put the title on the line against Zelina Vega.
Corey Graves joined Michael Cole on Raw as Pat McAfee was away for the second week following the death of his father-in-law. McAfee will return on the July 8th episode
The Following Results Took Place On WWE Raw:
- Jey Uso opened the show to a thunderous reception from the crowd in Boston, MA. Uso vowed to win Money in the Bank before being interrupted by Chad Gable. A brief physical altercation occurred before the Wyatt Sicks once again targeted Gable, who fled through the crowd
- Xavier Woods defeated Karrion Kross
- Liv Morgan defeated Zelina Vega to retain the Women’s World Championship thanks to inadvertent interference from Dominik Mysterio
- Seth Rollins discussed his upcoming match against Damian Priest before being interrupted by The Judgment Day, resulting in a brawl
- Zoey Stark defeated Dakota Kai and Ivy Nile to qualify for the Women’s Money in the Bank match
- The latest Uncle Howdy/Bo Dallas video played, which it was revealed that Howdy was talking to himself the whole time
- Rey Mysterio defeated Dominik Mysterio
- Sami Zayn addressed his upcoming title defence against Bron Breakker. The challenger interrupted and a brawl ensued, resulting in Breakker standing tall after delivering a spear to Zayn
- Drew McIntyre defeated Sheamus and Ilja Dragunov to qualify for the Men’s Money in the Bank match
