WWE has revealed when and where Elimination Chamber 2026 will take place.
As announced via press release on November 13, the stipulation match will be coming to the United Center in Chicago on Saturday, February 28 next year. This will be the final Premium Live Event before WrestleMania 42, and will likely see World Championship challengers determined inside the structure:
November 13, 2025 – WWE, in partnership with Choose Chicago, the city’s official destination marketing organization, today announced that it will return to the United Center in Chicago, the largest indoor arena in the United States, for Elimination Chamber on Saturday, February 28, 2026.
This marks the first WWE Premium Live Event to be held at the United Center in more than three decades. In August 1994, SummerSlammade history as the first sports event to open the iconic venue. Elimination Chamber 2026 builds on Chicago’s rich history of hosting WWE events, including WrestleMania, Survivor Series, Money In The Bank, Backlash and more.

Tickets for Elimination Chamber will go on sale starting Thursday, November 20 at 10am CT via Ticketmaster.com. The Elimination Chamber sees 6 competitors in the match, with 4 entrants locked in pods and the other 2 starting in the ring. At select intervals, a wrestler is released from their pod and enters the match. Eliminations occur via pinfall or submission, with the last one standing generally earning either the championship contested, or an opportunity to face the champion the Royal Rumble winner doesn’t pick at WrestleMania.
WWE Elimination Chamber 2026 To Follow Historic 2025 Event
The 2025 iteration of the event saw one of the most shocking moments of the year and in professional wrestling history. After John Cena won the match to earn an opportunity at WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, the Hollywood star turned heel by siding with The Rock and Travis Scott to beat down The American Nightmare. Cena went on to defeat Rhodes at WrestleMania 41 to win his record-breaking 17th World Championship.
