Wrestling Ratings For November 19th

The ratings are in for the November 19th episodes of Friday Night SmackDown and AEW Rampage. On average 2.064 million people watched SmackDown, while 556,000 people watched Rampage. The numbers have been obtained by Brandon Thurston from Wrestlenomics:

Compared to the previous week, SmackDown has seen a drop in viewers. November 12th saw an average viewership of 2.104 million viewers, meaning that the change in viewership calculates to approximately a drop of 2%. In regards to the key demographic, 684,000 viewers were aged between 18 and 49 years old. This equates to a rating of 0.52, also down from the November 12th rating of 0.56.

By contrast, AEW Rampage has seen an increase in viewers. The change from the November 12th viewership of 515,000 to the November 19th viewership of 556,000 viewers calculates to an approximate increase of 8%. The key demographic rating is also up from the previous week, with a 0.22 rating obtained for November 19th, equating to 286,000 viewers, which is up from the November 12th rating of 0.20.

In terms of show rankings, Thurston is reporting that SmackDown ranked 4th overall for viewers aged between 18 and 49 on Friday night. Showbuzz Daily reports that Rampage was ranked 17th overall in the same age range.

SmackDown was mainly focused on the build to Survivor Series, with the blue brand hosting the go-home show to the event on November 19th. By contrast, AEW Rampage was the first edition of All Elite Wrestling’s newest show since the Full Gear pay-per-view, meaning that AEW mainly focused on the fallout of the event.
