Triple H made a rare onscreen appearance on the season premiere of SmackDown on Friday, October 13th.
Looking to make the show newsworthy, The Game had multiple announcements for the WWE Universe. Firstly, there was a shift in the management structure of both brands.
Triple H Has Two Announcements
First addressing WWE Official Adam Pearce, it was announced that Pearce had received a promotion and would be exclusively on the Raw brand. With SmackDown in need of an authority figure, Triple H introduced Nick Aldis as the new GM from the blue brand.
Jey Uso’s trade to Raw at Payback, SmackDown’s need for a top-tier star was promptly acknowledged. Seizing the moment, Aldis revealed the exciting addition to the SmackDown roster: Kevin Owens. With Owens now split from long-time partner Sami Zayn, it will be interesting to see what Zayn’s direction will be on Raw.
