2025 was an unfortunate year for one WWE Superstar who has previously held every championship in the promotion and headlined WrestleMania.
On the January 2 SmackDown, The Miz cut off the announcers to air his grievances over the past year. Along with being denied an opportunity at sharing the ring with John Cena one last time, Miz also spoke about how he had been embarrassed over the past few weeks by Joe Hendry. Unfortunately for the former WWE Champion, his rant was cut short by a returning Randy Orton, who laid out Miz with 2 RKOs. According to the stats, Miz has every right to be annoyed, judging by his win-loss record.
According to pro wrestling database Cagematch, Miz lost every one of his one-on-one matches across TV and live events throughout the year, and the only Premium Live Event match he was a part of was the 2025 Royal Rumble. Miz’s only victories came when he teamed up with Carmelo Hayes, as the duo picked up 2 wins as a tag team.
Miz competed in 27 matches over the course of 2025.
What Else Happened In WWE In 2025?

To recap the past 12 months, Features of Wrestling has compiled a year-in-review of 2025.
