As with most Wednesday nights, there is a double header of wrestling taking place with both AEW Dynamite and NXT airing tonight. Here is everything announced for each show:
NXT:
- Finn Balor (c) vs Adam Cole – NXT Championship match
- Io Shirai (c) vs Toni Storm – NXT Women’s Championship match
- Kayden Carter vs Xia Li
- NXT general manager William Regal will make 2 announcements. Rumours are that there will be an announcement of the date of the next Takeover event being a 2 night event, and the date(s) that this will take place. Also, the second announcement is rumoured to be the introduction of NXT Women’s tag team championships.
AEW:
- Ethan Page vs Lee Johnson
- Britt Baker, Maki Itoh and Nyla Rose vs. AEW Women’s World Champion Hikaru Shida, Ryo Mizunami and Thunder Rosa
- Matt Jackson vs. Rey Fenix
- Darby Allin (c) vs. Scorpio Sky – TNT Championship match
- Christian Cage to make is debut on Dynamite following his signing last Sunday at AEW Revolution.
- The Inner Circle to hold a war council.
