The Undertaker Set For Another WWE NXT Appearance

The Undertaker will be making his return to WWE NXT on the July 22 episode.

During the July 15 broadcast of the show, TNA World Champion Trick Williams appeared in a backstage segment. After confronting The Undertaker’s LFG team, Williams stormed off and stated that he didn’t see why the Hall of Famer saw something in the recruits.

Taking to social media, Undertaker made the announcement that he would be at the taping the following week in Houston, Texas, and issued a warning to Williams:

.@_TrickWilliams, you disrespect my #WWELFG team…you disrespect me!

I’ll be in H-Town next week. With or without the TNA title…you might want to stay out my yard!

As noted by The Phenom, Williams is set to defend the TNA Title at Slammiversary this weekend in a triple threat match against Joe Hendry and Mike Santana.

The confrontation was made official for later in the show, and joins an NXT Championship match and Blake Monroe’s NXT singles debut as part of the line-up. Currently announced for the July 22 NXT is as follows:

  • The Undertaker confronts Trick Williams
  • NXT Champion Oba Femi defends against Yoshiki Inamura and Josh Briggs in a triple threat
  • Blake Monroe vs. Wren Sinclair
  • Ricky Saints vs. Jasper Troy

The Undertaker To Make Latest WWE NXT Appearance

The Hall of Famer has made multiple appearances on the developmental show over the past couple of years, mostly to promote WWE LFG. However, back in October 2023, Undertaker was one of many big stars to appear on the show that went head-to-head with AEW Dynamite. In the closing segment, Undertaker attacked Bron Breakker and endorsed Carmelo Hayes to close out a star-studded show.
