The Rock’s return to WWE has been viewed by millions and millions!

On January 1st 2024, The Rock would once again make a surprise appearance, this time on the Day 1 episode of WWE Raw. Unsurprisingly, the appearance has proved to be extremely popular on social media.

As touted by WWE, 171 million people watched The Great One come home across their multiple social platforms, shattering the previous record of 103 million, which was also set by the Hollywood star.

171 MILLION VIEWS!  HE KEEPS BREAKING RECORDS!  When @TheRock comes home to WWE, the world knows.

Eternally thankful for the fans over the years, the former World Champion credited the WWE Universe for making this monumental achievement possible.

Amazing stuff. This is all thanks to the people. They break records, not me. I just try and look cool, not screw up and not cuss too much

Ahead of time, Triple H had teased that a former WWE Champion would be making their presence felt on January 1st. Following the announcement that the former champion was about to make their entrance, there was a collective groan as Jinder Mahal made his way to the ring. Playing the ani-American heel, Mahal was eventually interrupted by The Great One, who once again received an electric response from the fans.

Will The Rock Be At WrestleMania?

At the end of the segment, the Hollywood megastar alluded to the fact that he intends to confront Roman Reigns in the near future. Although many believe that Rock vs. Reigns will finally happen at WrestleMania, there has been no confirmation that Rock will compete or if the appearance may take place at a different event. It has been previously reported that the Australian tourist board requested The Rock to be present at the upcoming Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event in Perth.
