Stipulation Added To Extreme Rules Match

Stipulation Added To Extreme Rules Match

The Universal Championship match due to take place at Extreme Rules has seen a stipulation added. Roman Reigns will defend his Universal Championship in an Extreme Rules match on Sunday September 26th.

The match was originally due to be a standard singles match between Reigns and Finn Balor. However, following an unannounced appearance by Balor in his demon form, the match was changed to be Roman vs. “The Demon.” The updated announcement now makes the match an Extreme rules match, where anything goes and there are no count outs or disqualifications.

At the time of writing, this is the only no-disqualification match due to take place at the Extreme Rules pay per view. To view the updated card for Extreme Rules click here.

Even though Roman Reigns is the top champion on SmackDown, The Tribal Chief made an appearance on the go-home edition of Monday Night RAW. Along with Reign’s cousins The Usos, The Bloodline faction defeated The New Day following interference from Bobby Lashley.
