Semi-Finals Set In John Cena Last Time Is Now Tournament

The semi-finals have now been confirmed in The Last Time Is Now tournament, which will see the winner face John Cena in his final match.

The remaining quarterfinal matches took place on the November 28 edition of SmackDown. In the opening match of the show, Jey Uso defeated Rusev with a spear and splash to advance to the next round. At the start of the show, LA Knight was informed that he would once again be facing a mystery opponent as Sheamus was out with a shoulder injury. Following a backstage segment involving The Miz, R-Truth and General Manager Nick Aldis, Miz made sure that he was back in the tournament after being eliminated in the opening round. Unfortunately for The Miz, he was eliminated a second time as Knight pinned the former champion after hitting a BFT, setting up an Uso vs. Knight semi-final.

On the November 24 Raw, Gunther defeated Carmelo Hayes and Solo Sikoa defeated Penta following a referee stoppage, meaning that they will face each other in the next round, which will take place on the December 1 Raw.

Cena’s final match will take place at the December 13 Saturday Night’s Main Event special.
