A new title match has been announced for WWE Crown Jewel as United States Champion Rey Mysterio will defend against Logan Paul.
Logan Paul made his return on the October 20th episode of SmackDown fresh off his boxing victory against Dillon Danis on October 14th in Manchester. Paul called out Mysterio after the match.
On SmackDown, Paul referenced his victory at WrestleMania 38, which saw him and The Miz defeat Rey and Dominik Mysterio. The Hall of Famer referenced the difficulty he had facing his son at Mania the following year, but had no problem teaching Paul a lesson in respect. The match the United States Championship match was later confirmed for Crown Jewel.
