WWE star Penta was unable to finish his match on Raw due to a suspected injury.
The Luchador was in action on the November 24 broadcast against Solo Sikoa. However, after hitting a hurricanrana to Sikoa off the barricade, he landed hard on his shoulder. The match was paused as the medical team checked on Penta, as the cameras focused on Sikoa, which led to the show going to break. When Raw came back from commercial, ring announcer Alicia Taylor let the fans know that Sikoa was the winner.
Further information on the injury was reported on by Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline, who noted that commentator Wade Barrett threw the show to break as an audible as fellow announcer Joe Tessitore was being fed information from the medical team. Alvarez also added that Penta tried to pop his shoulder back into place to continue the match, but the medical team wouldn’t allow it, adding that the match was originally set to go 12 minutes.

During the past weekend’s AAA tapings in Mexico, Penta reunited with his brother Rey Fenix to set up a match to face Dominik Mysterio & El Grande Americano at AAA Guerra de Titanes on December 20. If this still goes ahead, this will be the first time that The Lucha Brothers have teamed up since signing with WWE.
At the time of writing, no further information has been provided on the severity of Penta’s injury.
Penta Eliminated From WWE Tournament
The match between Sikoa and Penta was part of The Last Time Is Now Tournament, which will determine who faces John Cena in his final match on December 13. As Sikoa won the match, he will face Gunther in the semi-finals.
