The August 24th edition of NXT will see the fallout from NXT TakeOver 36, which took place on Sunday August 22nd. A tournament final match and a six man tag team match are amongst the scheduled matches due to take place. Also expect to hear from new NXT Champion Samoa Joe, who captured his third World Championship with the black and gold brand in the main event of TakeOver 36.
The following matches and segments have been announced to take place:
- Carmelo Hayes vs. Odyssey Jones – NXT Breakout Tournament final match.
- Hit Row vs. Legado del Fantasma – Six man tag team match
- Ridge Holland vs. Timothy Thatcher.
