NJPW has announced the full schedule for the G1 Climax 36 tournament.

The round-robin tournament is set to return in the summer of 2026 and will determine a future number one contender to the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship, which is currently held by Callum Newman.

The 2026 G1 will kick off in July in Chicago before continuing in Japan one week later. The tournament finals will take place in Tokyo on August 15 and 16.
