Hell In A Cell will be the next event on WWE pay per view’s calendar. The event will take place on Sunday June 20th. The announcement was made during the WrestleMania Backlash event.
This announcement will be a shake up to the traditional pay per view calendar for WWE. Traditionally, the Hell In A Cell event usually takes place around mid to late October. The usual slot for WWE’s June pay per view event has been either Extreme Rules or Money In The Bank.
The event will feature multiple matches taking place inside WWE’s signature structure. This follows the traditional modern format of naming pay per views after match stipulations, with multiple iterations of that match taking place on the night.
Features of Wrestling will announce matches when they have been confirmed by WWE.
