The line-up for AEW Double or Nothing has grown.

Prior to AEW Dynasty, Mercedes Mone made it clear that she would be facing whoever the TBS Champion was at the next pay-per-view. With Willow Nightingale victorious over Julia Hart at Dynasty, Nightingale vs. Mone 2 has been confirmed for the show.

On the April 24th episode of Dynamite, a sudden death gauntlet match took place, which saw competitors enter at set time periods and the first pin or submission resulted in the victory. Pinning Kommander, Will Ospreay won the match and will challenge Roderick Strong for the International Championship at Double or Nothing.

On the May 1st episode of Dynamite, Swerve Strickland found out who his challenger would be for the show. Interrupted by The Young Bucks, the EVPs introduced Strickland’s challenger Christian Cage, who attacked Strickland and Prince Nana in the opening segment.
