Naomi has confirmed the rumours are true and that she is pregnant with her first child.
Appearing live on the August 18 episode of WWE Raw, the Women’s World Champion addressed her status after being pulled from last week’s show on short notice due to not being cleared to compete, sparking speculation as to the reason for the unexpected absence.
Footage then aired from Naomi and husband Jimmy Uso’s appearance on Stephanie McMahon’s What’s Your Story podcast, which saw the couple announce that there is a baby on board.

Remaining in character following the announcement, the Women’s World Champion refused to give up the title to Raw General Manager Adam Pearce, telling the GM “I ain’t handing you sh*t.” Naomi then stated that The Bloodline would continue before laying the championship on the ground, signalling that her time as the top champion on Raw had come to an end. Now set to go on a lengthy hiatus, the former Women’s Champion ended the segment by laying the title on the ground and warned the locker room to proceed with caution.
Following the segment, footage was also seen of Triple H congratulating the Raw star backstage following the news.
Naomi won the Women’s World Championship by crashing the main event of Evolutio between then-champion IYO SKY and challenger Rhea Ripley by cashing in her Money in the Bank contract. As she was a SmackDown star at the time, many were shocked by the move. The announcement brings Naomi’s title reign to an end at 36 days. The former champion was due to defend the title against Stephanie Vaquer at Clash in Pari on August 31, with WWE set to make an announcement next week over the future of the championship.
