Multiple wrestlers signed to AEW are reportedly soon set to become free agents. In a report published by PWInsider, there are several stars signed to All Elite Wrestling that will be departing the company over the next 30 to 60 days.
It was recently reported that Lio Rush will not be renewing his contract with AEW, and will become a free agent on February 14th. While multiple talents are set to have their contracts expire, PWInsider has also learned that All Elite Wrestling will not be formally announcing the releases.
With WWE releasing nearly 100 names and the future of Ring of Honor in question, AEW have made multiple signings in 2021, including big names such as Bryan Danielson and Ruby Soho. However, with only so much TV time and a large roster, there is only so much TV time to go around.
It should also be noted in the same report that there is still a possibility that AEW may bring back talent whose contracts have expired for one off appearances in the future.
