Trish Stratus making her return to WWE was not a one-off according to a new report.
At the Royal Rumble, the Hall of Famer was a surprise entrant in the match in the number 25 spot. Scoring one elimination by throwing Candice LeRae out of the ring, Startus was one of many to be eliminated from the match by Nia Jax. With Stratus being regarded as one of the greatest women’s wrestlers of all time, it’s no surprise that the former Women’s Champion received a great reaction from the fans in Indianapolis when her music hit. Luckily for the fans, there will be more to come.
As reported by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, Stratus has been discussed for upcoming appearances, adding that the Hall of Famer will sometimes pitch things for her return. Additionally, Stratus is expected to be a part of the upcoming Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event in some way as it is taking place in her hometown of Toronto.
Trish Stratus Celebrating 25 Years Since WWE Debut
Stratus entering the match at the number 25 spot was fitting given that she made her debut in WWE back in the year 2000. With 7 reigns as Women’s Champion in her career, Stratus remains one of the most decorated women’s wrestlers in the company and received universal praise for her 2023 run that saw her feud with Becky Lynch.
In previous interviews, Stratus has stated that she is looking to get back in the ring to mark the anniversary.
