Masha Slamovich Gone From TNA

Former Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich has officially left TNA following a recent update on the company’s website.

On December 9, fans noticed that Slamovich had been removed from the company’s roster page on its website, indicating that she had departed the company. Providing more information on the subject, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select confirmed that Slamovich is done with TNA as her contract had expired, adding that the expiration occurred back in October.

The Russian pro wrestler, real name Anna Khozina, signed with the company back in 2019 before making her return in 2021. During her time with the promotion, Slamovich captured the Knockouts Championship once and the Knockouts Tag Team Championship 3 times. Slamovich also made multiple appearances on WWE TV as part of NXT, and faced Natalya in a losing effort at Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport.

Why Did Masha Slamovich Leave TNA?

Details of Slamovich’s past relationship came to light online, with her ex, AKIRA, detailing allegations of domestic abuse by posting screenshots of text messages and images of injuries online. TNA issued a statement on the accusations and Slamovich was pulled from independent bookings. Slamovich was also set to challenge then Knockouts Champion Ash By Elegance for the title at Victory Road, but this match was also pulled from the show.
