Two former WWE Superstars made an appearance at All Elite Wrestling’s Double or Nothing event on May 30th. The first was “The World’s Strongest Man” Mark Henry. The announcement was made by Tony Schiavone during Double or Nothing:
The WWE Hall of Famer will have multiple roles in AEW. Henry will serve as both a coach for the roster and an announcer. Mark’s announcing duties will take place on All Elite Wrestling Rampage, the new show by AEW that is due to air August 13th 2021.
Also making an appearance on Double or Nothing was Lio Rush. The former WWE Cruiserweight Champion was the Joker entrant in the Casino Battle Royale match. While Rush did not win, it looks like the Man of the Hour will be making more appearances for the company. However, Rush has not received the now traditional graphic confirming his signing, like the image used for Mark Henry.
