Liv Morgan And Raquel Rodriguez Win WWE Women's Tag Team Championships

Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez are the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions once more, making history in the process.

Competing in the main event of the February 24 episode of Raw, Morgan and Rodriguez defeated Bianca Belair and Naomi to win the titles for a record third time. The match saw Dominik Mysterio provide interference, allowing the challengers to take advantage. With the referee distracted, Rodriguez slammed Namoi’s head onto the ring post, allowing Moragn to pin Naomi to win the match and the championships. Dominik Mysterio celebrated with the new champions as the show went off the air.

The victory brings to an end the previous reign at 177 days. The original reign kicked off with Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill as champions. However, with Jade Cargill attacked in November 2024, Naomi was named as the replacement tag partner.

It should be noted that Morgan, Belair and Naomi will all be in the Elimination Chamber on March 1st, meaning that the former champions will have an opportunity to get some payback on the new champion. Rodriguez will not be in the match as she did not qualify, losing to Roxanne Perez.

Liv Morgan And Raquel Rodriguez Add To Championship Record

Along with being 3-time Women’s Tag Team Champions, Morgan is also a 2-time Women’s Champion and Crown Jewel Champion. Rodriguez previously held the titles with Aliyah and is also a former NXT Women’s and NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion, holding the titles with Dakota Kai 2 times.
