Liv Morgan Alleged Stalker Won’t Stand Trial Until 2026

Liv Morgan Alleged Stalker Won't Stand Trial Until 2026

A man who is being accused of stalking WWE star Liv Morgan will not stand trial until early 2026.

As reported by Mike Johnson of PWInsider on October 24, Shawn Chan will not be going on trial next month as originally planned, and the earliest the hearing will take place will be January of next year. The reason for the delay is due to an unopposed motion being filed requesting that the trial be pushed back 2 months.

Chan, from Canada, travelled to the United States back in May, and spent hours outside Morgan’s home, with the article noting that he “circled her property several times and entered through her backyard.” Chan also attempted to gain entry via the front door but was unsuccessful. Chan later departed and left a note, which said the following:

“It’s me Shawn the guy you all hang out with on [gaming platform deleted] online.  You’ve been trying to contact me, or should I say reach out to me when I’m absent from that game. So who’s the stalker huh?!  I NEVER said and did anything bad for over 10 years, yet you all dared hating me for no reason.  I came here to pay just a friendly visit, nothing more. Yet, I’m the one who looks like a stalker thx to all of you.  And you all think I’m going to have empathy, sympathy and care about any of you anymore?  I will start talking and doing whatever I want despite all your shoosh finger faces that you all make.  Yea, I just wanted to let you know that I was here.”

Chan also told US customs that he would be staying at the WWE Performance Center following his flight, but the facility has no accommodations. Chan was arrested in early June when WWE security recognised him and alerted the authorities. Chan is currently facing 5 years imprisonment due to the allegations.

Liv Morgan Also Expected To Be Out Until 2026

Morgan is currently out of action after suffering a separated shoulder in her match back in June. According to a recent report on Liv Morgan’s status, the WWE star is expected to be back in action in early 2026, provided her recovery stays on track.
