A title match, a high-stakes match and more have been set for the March 25 AEW Dynamite.
Following his victory over Brody King at Revolution, Swerve Strickland looked to continue the assault until a returning Kenny Omega made the save. Both men have since agreed to face one another on Dynamite with major implications. If Omega wins, he will be the new number one contender for the World Championship. However, if Strickland wins, Omega will relinquish his EVP status.
The title match announced will see Mina Shirakawa attempt to dethrone Women’s Champion Thekla. Shirakawa picked up a big win over Marina Shafir on the last episode of Dynamite, and is looking to continue her momentum by winning the top prize in the division.
After emerging victorious over Adam Page at Revolution, World Champion MJF is scheduled to appear live. With Dynasty set to take place on April 12, MJF will likely begin the build to his next title defence on the show.
Also announced is RUSH facing Darby Allin.
