LA Knight is the latest WWE star to re-sign with the company.
As reported by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, Knight recently “restructured and extended” his current contract which will see The Megastar remain with the company for a number of years and with a significant increase in pay.
Knight’s deal was originally set to expire in early 2025 but “significant time” has been added onto the deal with negotiations resuming shortly after WrestleMania following initial reports that the WWE star and the company were apart on money back in autumn 2023.
Knight has become the latest top star to commit to WWE for the foreseeable future.
LA Knight Continues Successful Run
2023 saw the rise of Knight with overwhelming fan support in the lead-up to WrestleMania 39. While Knight would be placed in prominent matches and received multiple title shots, The Megastar did not win any of the big matches save for a Slim Jim Battle Royal victory at SummerSlam 2023. Despite this, Knight remained popular among the fans with consistently strong merch sales throughout the past year. After defeating AJ Styles at WrestleMania 40, LA Knight finally won his first main roster championship at SummerSlam when he defeated Logan Paul to become the new US Champion.
In other contract news, the date of Bobby Lashley’s WWE contract expiration has been revealed.
