John Cena Wins 17th World Championship

Cena won his first WWE Championship back in 2005 when he defeated JBL. Over the next 20 years, Cena would go on to be one of the biggest stars in company history along with a successful career in Hollywood. When Cena won his 16th title in 2017 to tie Ric Flair’s record, many doubted that Cena would win one more. However, when Cena announced his retirement at the start of the year, the record breaking reign looked to be inevitable.
