John Cena has confirmed his first match for the upcoming retirement tour.
Earlier in the year, Cena announced that he would be competing for the final time in 2025 and that he would be embarking on a lengthy tour that would last throughout the year with 36 appearances, culminating with the final match in December 2025.
On social media, Cena confirmed that the last time is now and that he would be in action at the 2025 Royal Rumble on February 1st at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana. It is unknown at this time whether Cena will be a part of the Men’s Royal Rumble match or if he will be in another match on the card.
While the dates have not been set in stone, it is also known that Cena will be appearing live on the Raw on Netflix premiere in January 2025 and will also be in action at WrestleMania 41 later in the year in Las Vegas.

First entering the iconic match back in 2003, Cena has found success twice in the Rumble as he was the last man standing in 2008 and 2013. If Cena is victorious in the 2025 match, he will join Steve Austin as the only 3-time winners.
