Former TNA Champion Is Now With AEW [Spoiler]

A former TNA star who won multiple championships in the company has been revealed to be the newest member of the AEW roster.

As seen by fans in attendance at the August 16 AEW Collision taping, which took place on August 14, Ace Austin is now All Elite. The former X-Division Champion was revealed to be Ricochet’s opponent on the show. Although Austin was unable to pick up the victory over Ricochet, Tony Khan made the announcement at the taping that Austin was now a part of the roster.

Starting his career as part of the Anoaʻi family’s World Xtreme Wrestling promotion and Combat Zone Wrestling, Austin joined TNA back in 2019. During his time in the company, Austin captured the X-Division Championship 3 times and also reigned as Tag Team Champion 3 times, with all 3 reigns being alongside Chris Bey. Austin has also competed in New Japan Pro Wrestling and the recently revamped Maple Leaf Pro.

At the start of the year, Jordynne Grace saw her contract come to an end, but the former Knockouts Champion went on to sign with WWE.
